Letters to Mutts

It's great to hear from people who have given a home and a family to one of our dogs. Here are some of the letters we've received.

Beau

Beau

Dear All at Mutts in Distress,
Just wanted to let you know that Beau is doing just fine in Benfleet, mixing in well with all the other dogs that
come in for boarding and daycare and both he and Lola adore each other.  He is a super happy little chappy and a pleasure to have here.
He is eating well at set meal times now, walking well on lead with all the others, sleeping happily downstairs and very loving.
Kind regards,
Paula

Lilly

Lilly
Hi all at Mutts,

Here is a picture of Lilly, she seems to be settling in ok and we have not had any little accidents , as she goes in the garden.

She must have had a bit of training in Greece because I have a friend who is Greek, so I thought nothing to lose  – she responds to katsy which is sit and ohee which is no ; so we are  telling her both in Greek and English until she learns the English command.  I  will try out some others when I next see my friend and let you know.

Arthur

Arthur

Dear Pat,
I’ve just visited Arthur for his rehoming follow up check.  A great dog and two great people, he is so happy and so are they.
He met me with a bark, then rolled over on his back for a tummy rub, both dog and owners could not be more happy.
A great ending.
Regards,
Stuart

I miss you and all my Aunties, not forgetting Uncle John. Can you say a big hello from me please.
I can’t wait to see you at the next party.

Love Oscar xx
P.S I’ve got Daddy Tommy wrapped round my paw. X

Mary and Fly

Hello Aunty Pat and all my friends at Mutts,
Just a note to let you know I have settled in with my new Mummy and Daddy. I think I love Mummy more though, cos she
lets me sleep on her lap. I wish you had told me my new sister Fly was half crocodile though! She is very funny and
makes all our new family laugh. Here she is ready in the pot for some crocodile soup !  Daddy is her favourite!
Lots of love Mary and Fly x

Ivan

Ivan
Hi my name’s Ivan. I’m not sure if you all remember me but I left Mutts about a year ago to go and live with my second family. Everything is going ok this time, my anxiety issues have gone. I am getting lots of walks and I’m loved by all my family. I have a best friend, not the typical friend for a dog, his name is Garfield, we play chase together.

Shane at home.

Shane at home.

Shane has now been living with us for over 4 weeks . He has been checked by the vet  and behaved perfectly while there.
He has become a huge part of our family loved by all. He has long walks in the countryside, where he is making lots of friends and their owners
constantly tell us how he is changing daily into the perfect companion. He goes obedience training weekly, where he received a star last week!
We never knew how much pleasure a dog could bring to a family, the love  he shows us is very humbling and we return it to him constantly. We would like to thank all at Mutts In Distress for allowing us to take on Shane and hope to keep in touch with the team.
